Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with compassion and precision
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions using Epic EHR systems
- Mentor nursing students and new staff members
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active NM RN license or compact state eligibility
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
