Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
- Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and monitor treatment effectiveness
- Administer medications, perform diagnostic procedures, and document medical records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care delivery
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital committees
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (required within 90 days of hire)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Electronic Health Records (EHR) proficiency
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends/holidays
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
