Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions using EHR systems (EPIC)
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and treatment procedures
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital policies
- Mentor new staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN # required)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience (ADN with 2+ years accepted)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required; TNCC preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience (Med-Surg/ICU preferred)
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EPIC experience highly valued)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends/holidays
