Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with critical thinking and clinical judgment
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Document patient assessments and care plans using electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient-centered care strategies
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergency situations with rapid intervention
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Maintain compliance with Joint Commission standards and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care or specialty nursing experience
- Strong communication skills with ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Electronic health record proficiency (Epic EMR preferred)
