Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care in our advanced cardiac telemetry unit
- Administer medications and treatments with precise attention to safety protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using EPIC EMR systems
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond rapidly to critical changes
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care instructions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (TNCC preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- Strong proficiency in EPIC EMR documentation
- Demonstrated critical thinking in emergency situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
