Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in critical care, emergency, or medical-surgical units
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient records accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance, hospital protocols, and safety regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous education
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
