Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assessment, treatment, and medication administration
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor patient conditions and document electronic health records accurately
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care management
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
- Coordinate care transitions between departments and healthcare providers
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Electronic health record proficiency (EPIC preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
