Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration, treatment procedures, and health monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient information accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care techniques
- Supervise LVNs and nursing assistants while maintaining patient safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license (or compact state license)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1-2 years acute care experience (ER, Med-Surg, or ICU preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Electronic health record proficiency (Epic experience preferred)
