Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and intervention in assigned clinical units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and regulatory compliance
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
- Lead emergency response situations with critical thinking and composure
Qualifications
- Current New York State RN license (required)
- BSN degree from accredited institution (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS/CPR certification and ACLS/PALS (as per unit requirements)
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Demonstrated critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
