Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care settings with precision and empathy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per clinical protocols and safety standards
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately and timely
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization projects
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and OSHA compliance regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems and medical documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
