Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and hospital protocols
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety awareness
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care techniques
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict patient confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Indiana (or compact state eligibility)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required) • PALS or TNCC preferred
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated proficiency in electronic health record systems
