Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and medications via established protocols.
- Monitor patient health status, including vital signs and symptoms, and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other interdisciplinary team members.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and clinical notes.
- Ensure a safe and clean patient environment in accordance with hospital safety standards.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
