Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough health assessments, monitor vital signs, and document patient history accurately.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure continuity of care.
- Educational Support: Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Quality Assurance: Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards to ensure a safe environment.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication and empathy for patients.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
