Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient progress and response to therapy, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and social workers to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient care services accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and medication management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital setting.
- Demonstrated compassion and commitment to patient-centered care.
