Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate, and quality patient care to individuals across various age groups and medical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and healthcare providers.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and progress, and report any changes to the nursing supervisor or physician immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, procedures, and observations in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and their families regarding medical conditions, treatment plans, and health promotion strategies.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction.
