Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing a comprehensive nursing care plan.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and disease management.
- Document patient care services accurately and in a timely manner using Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse or Physician immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Oklahoma.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in computer applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient advocacy.
