Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license in the state of Illinois or Ohio.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience (New grads welcome with relevant certifications).
- BLS and ACLS certification required (PALS/ENPC preferred based on unit).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
