Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vitals and health status closely, documenting all observations accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other multidisciplinary staff to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in compliance with hospital standards.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (New grads welcome with internship).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems (EMR).
