Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through history taking, physical exams, and analysis of diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and conditions continuously to identify changes requiring immediate intervention.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered California Registered Nurse license.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
