Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and mental status to identify immediate needs.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to hospital protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Document all patient interactions, care provided, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Kansas State Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
