Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in acute care settings with focus on clinical excellence
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Monitor and document patient vitals, progress, and response to treatments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge planning
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 1+ years of acute care nursing experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
