Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with established medical protocols and hospital standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, procedures, and changes in condition.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families during treatment.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and critical care needs within the unit.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and adherence to healthcare regulations.
