Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Monitor vital signs and interpret diagnostic results
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare specialists to optimize patient care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with JCAHO standards
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Kansas
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Commitment to continuous professional development
