Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU settings
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs using advanced monitoring systems
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on post-ICU care and recovery
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid intervention
Qualifications
- Current Texas RN license (or compact license)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- 2+ years of ICU or critical care experience
- Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills
- Experience with Epic EHR systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based practice
