Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ICU setting including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, ECG readings, and diagnostic results
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Document patient information accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge protocols
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Maintain strict compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact license with FL endorsement)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of ICU or critical care nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with electronic health records (EPIC preferred)
