Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU settings
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs using advanced monitoring equipment
- Administer medications and treatments with precise attention to detail
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on post-ICU care procedures
Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license required
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2 years ICU or critical care experience
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
