Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced critical care nursing in 24-bed ICU unit
- Administer medications and perform complex patient assessments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on care plans
- Monitor and interpret telemetry/ECG data
- Provide family education and emotional support
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Participate in rapid response and code blue teams
Qualifications
- Active Louisiana RN license (required)
- BSN degree (ADN with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 1 year ICU or critical care experience
- Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
