Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in ICU setting using evidence-based practices
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and respond rapidly to critical situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit committees
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kentucky (or compact state)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year ICU or critical care experience
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
