Responsibilities
- Deliver critical care to ICU patients with complex medical conditions including post-operative recovery, sepsis management, and ventilator support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precise dosage calculations and documentation
- Monitor patient vitals and interpret diagnostic results to detect subtle changes in condition
- Provide compassionate end-of-life care and family support during critical situations
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and Joint Commission standards
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma RN license with no disciplinary actions
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associates Degree accepted with 2+ years ICU experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in ICU or critical care setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in EKG interpretation and hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication skills for patient/family education and interdisciplinary collaboration
