Responsibilities
- Provide advanced critical care nursing for post-operative and trauma patients
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor and interpret patient telemetry and vital signs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately
- Educate patients and families on care plans
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license (or compact state)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year ICU/step-down experience
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
