Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ICU setting including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical care interventions
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and interpret patient data, responding rapidly to changes in condition
- Educate patients and families on post-hospital care plans and medication management
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based projects
Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license (or compact license)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience required
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
