Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality direct patient care in a fast-paced ICU setting
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting all interventions
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and recovery
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and adhere to safety protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Minimum 1 year ICU or critical care experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
- Commitment to evidence-based nursing practices
