Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in critical care settings utilizing evidence-based practices
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety protocols
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs using advanced monitoring equipment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge planning
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations with appropriate interventions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Kansas
- BSN degree or equivalent experience (ADN with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year ICU or critical care experience preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- EMR experience (Epic preferred)
