Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ICU settings with critical assessment and intervention skills
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, reporting critical changes promptly
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate electronic health records while adhering to HIPAA regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit safety protocols
Qualifications
- Current Indiana RN license (required) with BSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience in acute care setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
