Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients using evidence-based practices
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, ECGs, and lab results
- Administer medications and treatments with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge plans
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Maryland (or compact state)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- 2+ years of ICU experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
