Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ICU setting including medication administration and treatment plans
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and EKG readings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and care progress accurately in EMR systems
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care procedures
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations with appropriate interventions
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years critical care nursing experience
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
