Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced nursing care to critically ill patients across diverse specialties including cardiac, surgical, and medical ICU
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer complex medications and life-saving interventions with precision
- Utilize cutting-edge monitoring technology and electronic health records for documentation
- Provide patient/family education on treatment plans and discharge protocols
- Mentor new nurses and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience in acute care setting
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
