Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in 12-bed ICU unit
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Monitor and interpret patient telemetry data, responding to changes in condition
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for coordinated patient care plans
- Provide family education on treatment procedures and recovery expectations
- Maintain strict compliance with Joint Commission and CMS regulations
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Current California RN license required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications mandatory
- Minimum 1 year ICU/acute care experience
- Electronic medical record proficiency (Epic experience preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends
