Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in critical care and emergency settings
- Monitor and interpret patient vitals using advanced monitoring equipment
- Administer medications and treatment protocols accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care planning
- Document patient assessments and interventions in EMR systems
- Provide family education and emotional support
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois
- BSN or higher preferred (ADN considered with experience)
- 2+ years ICU/ER experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
