Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced nursing care to ICU patients with complex medical conditions
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, ECG readings, and diagnostic results
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families during critical care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Current Indiana RN license (or compact license with Indiana endorsement)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred
- Minimum 1 year acute care ICU experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (EPIC experience strongly preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication abilities in high-stress environments
