Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in ICU/Stepdown setting utilizing evidence-based practices
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess patient conditions accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information comprehensively in EMR systems
- Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency interventions
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana (or compact license)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred
- Minimum 1 year ICU or Stepdown experience
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in EMR documentation systems
