Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care for critically ill patients in ICU/Trauma setting
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists on complex treatment plans
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs using advanced monitoring systems
- Document patient assessments and progress in electronic health records
- Lead rapid response team activations during emergencies
- Mentor new nurses and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years ICU/Trauma experience
- ACLS, BLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
