Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced critical care to post-surgical and trauma patients
- Monitor and interpret patient vitals using advanced telemetry systems
- Administer complex medications and IV therapies with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Document clinical data accurately in Epic EMR systems
- Educate families on critical care procedures and recovery processes
- Maintain sterile environments during invasive procedures
Qualifications
- Current Louisiana RN license with no disciplinary actions
- BSN or higher degree in Nursing
- Minimum 3 years ICU/CCU experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and ventilator management
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
