Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients using evidence-based practices
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and interpret complex patient data, responding rapidly to changes in condition
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with Joint Commission standards
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families during high-stress situations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and unit-based projects
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kentucky (or compact state)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years ICU or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
