Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient health status and intervene appropriately to prevent complications.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Document patient care activities, vital signs, and changes in condition accurately.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
