Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and surgical services
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress using EMR systems
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and treatment protocols
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations promptly
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and hospital safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems (EPIC preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
