Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress using electronic health records (EHR)
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatments
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety procedures
- Assist in emergency situations and perform rapid assessments as needed
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience (MedSurg/ICU preferred)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience a plus)
