Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations with precision and safety
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical data accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge procedures
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide critical care interventions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active California RN license in good standing
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical skills in medication administration and patient assessment
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems (EPIC preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid BLS certification must be maintained throughout employment
