Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in medical-surgical units with compassion and clinical precision
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Monitor patient status using advanced telemetry systems and electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to JCAHO standards and hospital policies for patient safety
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based committees
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR systems
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Arizona (or compact license)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in medical-surgical setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required) and PALS (preferred)
- Proficiency in electronic health records (Epic experience a plus)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
