Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop tailored care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Monitor vital signs and clinical status, escalating concerns to the healthcare team immediately.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all safety and regulatory protocols.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the United States.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS required for pediatric units).
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
